How does ‘Titan’ Skin Tightening work?

There is no other device like The Titan Laser Skin Tightening System on the market today. A specially designed hand piece delivers a safe infrared light, penetrating the deep, inner layers of the skin, uniformly heating the existing collagen and subsequently causing it to shrink and firm up.

This shrinkage promotes long-term collagen production, which lifts the targeted areas and gives a smoother, more toned appearance. After the procedure, new collagen growth will result in further tightening and development of a youthful complexion.

The heating can also cause an immediate contraction of collagen, resulting in tighter skin. While the infrared light source heats the collagen, we will continuously play a cooling attachment over the surface skin in order to cool, and thus protect the skins surface and prevent any heat-related damage.

Are there any side effects?

As the heat is applied deep within the skin, some swelling and redness may occur. Will my Non Surgical Facelift be painful?

During treatment, you will feel a brief heating sensation over the skin. Some patients take a mild pain reliever prior to the procedure and report no discomfort; however most patients do not take anything and are equally as comfortable. Following the treatment, there may be some redness and swelling in the treated area, which should be gone within a few hours. There is absolutely no downtime involved and all patients are able to return to normal activity the same day.

How many treatments will I need? 

Some patients see results immediately after one treatment, for others the results are gradual over a couple of months as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens. Some patients need more than one on-going treatment but many get the results they want after just one visit.

Experts have so far demonstrated that the benefits of The Titan System can be seen for one to two years after treatment. After this point, further treatments can be given if desired.
